Agricultural Economics/Rural Development and Extension

(a)  Two “A” Level Passes in Chemistry and one of Zoology/Botany/Agricultural Science/Biology, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Economics and Health Science

 

(b)  OND/ND at upper credit level in Business Admin., Accounting, Marketing, Agribusiness and Management or related discipline.

Five SSCE or its equivalent credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and one of Geography, Physics or Economics

English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science plus Mathematics or Physics

Agribusiness and Management

(a)  Two “A” level passes in Economics and any of Accounting, Business Administration, Government, Geography or Statistics/Mathematics

 

(b)  OND/ND at Upper credit level in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness and Management, Accounting, or related discipline.

Five SSCE or its equivalent credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Biology or Agric. Science and any other relevant subject from Principles of Account, Christian Religious Knowledge, Geography or Government.

B.         Postgraduate  Programmes

Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) are offered in the following specializations:

Admission Requirements:

Masters Degree:  A first degree with at least a second class honours or its equivalent.

Doctor of Philosophy Degree:  A masters degree with a CGPA of at least 3.5 (5-point scale) or 3.0 (4-point scale).
